Shadow

run fatboy poster has really started to make a name for himself, since the release of Shaun of the Dead back in 2004.

This film is his first staring role without his usual collaborators, writer/director, Edgar Wright and, co-star, Nick Frost.

For the first 20 minutes or so, I was not sure if this David Schwimmer-directed comedy would be able reach the bar set by Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

While I may prefer the more edgier Edgar Wright films, once the plot got rolling on this film I was enjoying myself. There are even some funny scenes in this film that rival the comedy in Wright's films.

may not be a perfect film, but it definitely was a fun one.
