My Thoughts on Semi-Pro

Over the years we’ve seen Will Ferrell play a soccer coach (Kicking and Screaming), Nascar Driver (Talladega Nights), and a figure-skater (Blades of Glory). Now, we get to see him as a basketball player.

I will be first to say that this brand of Will Ferrell humour is starting to get old. While I did find Semi-Pro a very funny movie at times (the higher rating helped), the story was nothing memorable.

I sometimes wish that Will Ferrel will make more smarter comedies like Stranger Than Fiction and let a younger actor do these “arrogant crazy man” roles.
