It's the time of year when horror films start coming out on DVD and this week is no exception with the release of M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening (also on Blu-Ray). When I saw the film back in June, I said that even though it wouldn't win back the fans Shyamalan lost, it is definitely his best film since Signs.
Also in the horror department is Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, which had a very limited theatrical release towards the end of the summer (I believed it only played for a week near me).
Also out this week is You Don't Mess with the Zohan (also on Blu-Ray), which I thought was definitely Adam Sandler's funniest film in a long time.
The new Blu-Ray releases continue the horror theme with High-Def versions of Young Frankenstein, Interview with the Vampire, The Omen, and The Amityville Horror.
And that's the DVD Picks for this week.
