Shadow

StateofPlay PosterI almost thought I wasn't going to write this tonight.

I went to see the film and due to a blackout, the film cut out with 45 minutes left to screen. I waited at the theatre for over an hour, but it never reopened and I thought the day was lost.

I then made the harsh decision to go and rewatch the film the same day and here I am.

I didn't really mind rewatching the first 72 minutes or so of the film and that was probably a good sign that this was a pretty entertaining political thriller.

The film really plays up the relation being politics and the media and I really like 's reporter character playing detective by trying to undercover a huge conspiracy. It was almost like a Film Noir in that respect.

Even though the initial set-back was annoying, in the end I was glad to go back and see the end of this entertaining film.
