My Thoughts on Trick ‘r Treat

I remember reading about Trick ‘r Treat on Ain’t it Cool News way back in 2007 and I was disappointed when the film, which looked very intriguing, was pushed back before it’s October 2007 release.

Now, nearly two years later, I finally saw the film as part of the Toronto After Dark film festival and I can say it was worth the wait.

This film, which takes on an anthology format, is probably one of the most original horror films to come around in a long time and I am glad that I had this chance to see it in a theatre before it goes direct-to-dvd on October 6.

I’m sure that Trick ‘r Treat will become a cult favourite that will be enjoyed in years to come.
