DVD Picks – September 22, 2009

This week, the main DVD Pick is the Seth Rogen comedy Observe and Report (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that it was a funny film, though it depends on whether you find sociopathic behaviour funny.

Also out this week is Adam Resurrected (also on Blu-Ray), which I saw at last year’s TIFF.

Fans of romantic comedies will probably pick up Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (also on Blu-Ray), even though I don’t particularly care for it.

On Blu-Ray, you can how get the high-def versions of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

And that’s my DVD Picks for this week.

He graduated from York University in 2010 with an honours B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies and he likes to believe he knows what he’s talking about when he writes about film (despite occasionally going on pointless rants).
