My Thoughts on The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I’ve always had mixed feelings about the Chronicles of Narnia film series, though I thought that the last film (Prince Caspian) was pretty good.

I thought that this film was a slight step down from the, more action-filled, previous film.  That said, I still thought that the film was a decent fantasy/adventure film for families.

I saw this film in 3D, which like many of the films released this year was a post-converted film.  As such, it was barely noticeable, though there a few good effects (mostly the shots of the Dawn Treader in the water).  Thankfully, post-converted 3D seems to be a trend that is coming to an end (hopefully).

Overall, while not as exciting as the previous film, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader still does its job.
