2014 Golden Globes Predictions

Golden-Globes-Logo It is already time for the Golden Globe Awards, which will be happening tonight.  While the awards have become hard to take seriously in recent years, this year’s batch of nominees is a little more straight forward then they have been in the past.  As always, I’m going to take a no-frills approach in listing off my predictions for the awards tonight.

  • Best Picture – Drama: Boyhood
  • Best Picture – Musical/Comedy: Into The Woods
  • Best Actor – Drama: David Oyelowo
  • Best Actress – Drama: Rosamund Pike
  • Best Actor – Musical/Comedy: Ralph Fiennes
  • Best Actress – Musical/Comedy: Emily Blunt
  • Best Supporting Actor: J.K. Simmons
  • Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette
  • Best Director: Richard Linklater
  • Best Screenplay: Boyhood
  • Best Song: Big Eyes
  • Best Score: Interstellar
  • Best Animated Film: How to Train Your Dragon 2
  • Best Foreign-Language Film: Leviathan
