The official TIFF schedule was released yesterday and I was busy choosing the films that I plan to exchange my pre-festival volunteer vouchers for. It was a very tough choice, since I had to work around the six volunteer shifts I have during the festival (which has already eliminated many films I wanted to see). In the end, I came up with a five-tier film list, which should help me out when I head to the box office September 3.
As you can see from the list, I have focused my choices to include one film from the Midnight Madness programme, four films from the Special Presentations programme, one film from the Real to Reel programme, and two films from one of the other programmes.
The films in the first column are my preferred choices. Since I expect some of those films to be offsale, I have an additional four columns of alternate choices. For every film that is offsale, I will just grab a choice from the next column over. Hopefully, with this plan, I’ll still be able to get a decent set of tickets.
