DVD Picks – April 7, 2009

daytheearthstoodstill dvdThis week the big DVD release is the remake of The Day to Earth Stood Still (also on Blu-Ray). While I never saw the original (and hence can’t compare the two), I still thought that this was a pretty decent sci-fi film in general.

Also out this week is Yes Man (also on Blu-Ray), which I thought was one of the better of ‘s recent comedies.

Rounding out the week’s releases are Doubt (also on Blu-Ray), Bedtime Stories (also on Blu-Ray), and The Tale of Despereaux (also on Blu-Ray).

And that’s my DVD Picks for this week.
