Trailer Thoughts: Star Trek – Trailer 3

startrekThis week we look at the second full-length trailer for J.J. Abram’s Star Trek movie.

Star Trek – Trailer 3

Now this is more like it!

You may recall that I was not a huge fan of the last trailer, with its “bait and switch” opening.

This time however, we get more epic trailer that is more suited for Star Trek. The trailer gives us a better look the Romulan villain Nero played by and it even hints that the character has some knowledge of the future (well, with appearing as the old Spock, you would expect that the future plays a part in the film).

Overall, this trailer has sold me on the new Star Trek and I look forward to seeing the film when it opens in May.
