Caleigh Le Grand
BiographyCaleigh Le Grand is an actor, writer, photographer, director, and producer, born and raised in Canada. She grew up playing in the world of theatre and earned her Honours and Specialization in MIT along with her Level II Writer's Certificate from Western University. She expanded her writing career, adding PR work to her journalism-based portfolio, while travelling the world on weekends as a flight attendant. She now grounds herself in the world of entertainment, producing and performing live comedy shows, alongside her continued acting, screenwriting, and photography.
Le Grand first made a name for herself as a Canadian scream queen, and went on to flex her comedic chops as a part of Second City's Musical Conservatory and Longform Improvisation programs in Toronto. She's had the fortune of improvising on stage with cherished comedians, like Colin Mochrie, and acting on screen alongside notable Jameses - like Franco and the late, great Caan - and has performed in sundry sketch shows (Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival) and improv festivals (New York City Musical Improv Festival, Big City Improv Festival, Detroit Improv Festival).
Having hosted countless live shows and red carpet events, Le Grand continues to satisfy her journalistic curiosities producing and hosting programs like her award-winning podcast, We're Totally (Not) OK, which focuses on the intersection between mass media culture and mental health.
