Derek Johns
 
Biography Derek Johns was born on February 27, 1992 in London, Ontario & raised in Saint-Colomban, Quebec. A graduate from Dawson College's professional theatre school in Montreal, Derek then went on to focus on Film & Television. He started by landing smaller roles on TV series' like The Moodys (2019) on FOX & The Bold Type (2017) on Freeform. His first major role was on the feature film, The Wolf and the Lion (2021), directed by Gilles de Maistre, where he played the likeable animal tracker, Charles. Derek was fortunate enough to be cast as Love Sausage in the hit series The Boys (2019). His character, with extreme strength and a 25-foot penis, is a fan favorite in the comics on which the Amazon series is based. Fans will be able to see Derek starring in the upcoming feature film, We Are Zombies (2023), based on the comic book series "The Zombies That Ate the World", directed by the RKSS trio that brought you the cult classics Turbo Kid (2015) & Summer of 84 (2018). He can also be seen in the horror film, The Sacrifice Game (2023), alongside Mena Massoud from Aladdin. In addition to acting, Derek is also an avid Twitch streamer, under the name @DerkaJohnsTV, where you can see him gaming and providing his witty banter. Fun fact, Derek is very passionate about hockey, specifically his Toronto Maple Leafs! In high school he would place bets against his home team, the Montreal Canadians, just to spite his friends. A couple of decades later, he now says "the joke is on me because the Leaf  (click to expand) s are perennial losers".
