Emily Alatalo
BiographyEmily Alatalo is a Canadian actress born in Sudbury, Ontario. She is best known for her role as Ginnie McMillan on "Workin' Moms" (Netflix/CBC) and as Cara Martin in "Christmas Plus One" (Lifetime).
Emily was born into a family of athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Growing up with three brothers, Emily developed a strong competitive spirit and in 2023, hiked all 2,198.4 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
Discovering her passion for acting later in life, Emily's career began when casting director Steven Mann reached out to her on Facebook. A former gymnast and wrestler, Emily's athleticism has landed her roles in action-packed projects, including "Spare Parts" (2020), "The Breach" (2022), and "Purgatory Jack" (2023).
Emily has since made a name for herself as a romantic leading lady, starring in "A Perfect Match" (2021), "The Princess and the Bodyguard" (2022), and "Christmas in Maple Hills" (2023).
Look for her in action comedy "Sunset Superman" alongside Billy Zane (Titanic), Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight) and Evan Stern (Letterkenny), to be released summer 2024.
