BiographyGail was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in New Jersey, studied in Ohio and then headed west. She raised a family, held down full-time jobs, did theatre and film/TV work. She persisted. Gail's worked with many great screen directors: Rod Lurie, Rick Linklater, Robert Altman, Oliver Stone, Kim Peirce, Bastian Gunther, Andrew Patterson, Steve Kloves to name a few. She is best known as MABEL BLANCHE in the THE VAST OF NIGHT. She will soon to be seen as Mike Chiklis' mom in THE SENIOR and tough talkin' BELL in the series STEPS OF FAITH: Hope's Journey. She's the inappropriate GRANDMA in the rom-com UNPLUGGING and MARTHA the mob boss in (S)HIT SQUAD. She's been "Screen Mom " to the stars, including Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Sorbo, Ethan Hawke, Carrie Preston, Lamari Nadal. She's played ELEANOR ROOSEVELT in TE ATA and SOPHIE THE BITCH (a dog) in DELPHIS. On stage, Gail received raves as Maria Callas in MASTER CLASS, played Emilia to Morgan Freeman's OTHELLO, kicked a lot of butt as RICHARD THE THIRD with the Judith Shakespeare Co.
