Luke Roberts

BiographyLuke Roberts is a British/Canadian actor and producer whose first role out of LAMDA was in an episode of HBO's Band of Brothers directed by Tom Hanks. Luke is perhaps best known as the series lead and producer of CBS crime procedural Ransom. The show ran for three seasons and follows Eric Beaumont's elite team of negotiators as they navigate numerous international kidnappings and conflicts. Prior to Ransom, Luke played the much loved character, Joseph Byrne, in BBC medical drama Holby City, dual sword wielding Ser Arthur Dayne in Game of Thrones and villainous Governor Woodes Rogers in the third and fourth seasons of Starz pirate drama Black Sails. Currently, Luke can be seen portraying Thomas Wayne in The Batman; alien body snatcher, Joe Allen in Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, Thomas Percy in Gunpowder Siege and James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2, for which he has been nominated for Best Performance at the 2024 Game Awards.
