BiographyLynn Downey known for her work in Daisy Jones & The Six, The People's Joker, 9-1-1, Impeachment: American Crime Story & The Rookie. On screen, she hold her own opposite Academy Award nominated Angela Bassett and Emmy winner Sarah Paulson. She is the iconic pioneer woman in Geico's "Words Can Hurt" Commercial. She co-created and starred in the award winning web series, Life Group, Winner of 2018 IndieBOOM Film Festival Best Comedy Series. She adapted Shauna Niequist's best selling memoir into the award winning Cold Tangerines: The Play (Encore Producers's Award LA Fringe 2016) starring in the extended run world premier at The Fremont Centre Theatre in 2014 and the LA Fringe Fest in 2016 before touring Southern California. She was born in Bloomington, IN, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ball State University with degree in Theatre (The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Best Supporting Actress,; Love Child, Outstanding Actress). She is married to actor/comedian Dan Braswell, and loves being mama to Birdie Joanna.
