Samantha Hyde
BiographySamantha Hyde is a young actress and screenwriter originally from Northern California. She started acting in elementary school and has studied classical drama, Shakespeare, screen acting, and voiceover. After performing lead roles in multiple short films and making it to the second round of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, Samantha signed with KMR & Associates. Her professional acting career started with a small role on Netflix's "Atypical." Samantha co-wrote, assistant directed, and starred in the Holly Shorts film "Superheroes," also featured in Variety for being nominated by Adobe as a finalist at the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. Next up, Samantha will be performing a lead role in her feature film debut "Wildflower," directed by Matt Smukler for Limelight and starring Kiernan Shipka, Jean Smart, Jacki Weaver, and Dash Mihok, among others. Samantha is also developing a feature film dramatizing her high school experience as a disabled artist. In her free time, Samantha mentors actors from historically oppressed groups.
