BiographyTroy is a 30 yr veteran of Stage and Screen Having appeared as Detective miller in 2022s Blumhouse hit film The Black Phone. As well as 2021s Halloween Kills, The 24th , Two-Eleven, My own love song, Hick, Black knight, the untold constitution and the upcoming Take time to dance and the confession. Television credits include One Tree Hill, Dawsons Creek, Surface, MacGyver, Outer Banks, Ozark, The Passage, Hightown, The resident, Queen Sugar, Stargirl and The Purge. He spent 3 years with the Equity acting company of The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, 3 Years as the artistic director of Big Dawg Productions. He served 6 years on the Board of directors of the Thalian Association The official Community Theatre of NC and is an accomplished theatrical set designer and scenic artist. He is an award winning stage performer having played such iconic roles as Frederick "Fronkensteen" in Young Frankenstein , The title characters in Jekyll/Hyde, George in "Of Mice and Men", King Arthur in "Spamalot", George Bailey in "Wonderful Life", Elliot in "The goodbye Girl" and Max Bialystock in "The Producers". Troy has worked as an ICU nurse for over 20 years and spent a year working as an ECMO specialist for a COVID ICU in Atlanta during the pandemic. He is co- owner of Wilmington Transport a non-emergent medical transportation company. When not performing or working as a leader in BSA Scouting America Troy Enjoys travel and spending time and performing with his incredibly talented family.
