Movies of the Moment – March 4, 2005

Well, the Oscars have come and gone and we are heading closer by the week to the summer movie season.

Here are this week’s movies.

Be Cool
This movie was the example I used in my previous post about studios prefering the PG-13 rating to the R rating. Even though this movie doesn’t have as much of an edge as the first film did, this looks like a fun movie and, thanks to a pass enclosed in the Get Shorty DVD, I get to see this movie for free.

The Pacifier
goes the “Kindergarten Cop” route for this film. Personally, I think the the trailer for the movie (especially the scenes with ) looks quite funny. Still, I don’t think I’ll see this movie in theatres.

The Jacket
This looks like a very interesting thriller. I may check it out if I have time.

Until next week.
