The nominees were announced for the 2009 Golden Globe awards.
As always, here are some random thoughts:
- Avatar really sticks out in the list of Best Picture – Drama nominees.
- If The Hangover wins Best Picture – Comedy or Musical it will be a happy day.
- In a perfect world, one of the two stop-motion nominees would win the Best Animated Film award.
- I think I’ve only heard of one of the Best Foreign Film nominees (Broken Embraces).
- Christoph Waltz seems a shoe-in for Best Supporting Actor.
Well that’s all the random thoughts I can think of. I’ll make formal predictions closer to the January 17 airdate.
