This arguably the best work by both director Michel Gondry and screenwriter Charlie Kaufman. The film also features one of Jim Carrey‘s best performances.
This is a unique type of romance film, since it follows the romance starting with the break-up and moves backwards (as the memories of it are being erased). The film is at once surreal and touching.
This is definitely one of my all-time favourites.
