James Cameron Teaches Filmmaking
Jim Carrey demonstrates that he still has box office clout, as Yes Man opens at the top of the box office with an estimated gross of $18.2M. Seven Pounds opened in second with an estimated gross of $16M and The Tale of Despereaux opened in third with an estimated $10.5M.
In limited release, The Wrestler opened in twenty-first place with an estimated gross of $209K, a decent number for a film playing on only four screens.
And that’s the box office thoughts for this week.
