It has been reported that Danny Elfman has left the job of scoring the upcoming remake of The Wolfman and he has been replaced by Paul Haslinger, who previously scored the first and third Underworld films, as well as Deathrace.
This change in composer makes it seem like the film is now going to to have a pseudo-rock score instead of the more traditionally gothic score Elfman was planning.
Elfman is one of my favourite composers (I really love his collaborations with Tim Burton), as such I think it’s a bit disappointing that he is not on this project anymore.
Hopefully the film still turns out OK.
