News: Preparations begining on G.I. Joe and Wolverine Sequels

GiJoePosterSource: FirstShowing

It would have been really bad if there was never a sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, since the film obviously sets one up. However, it is being reported that work on a sequel has already begun and that the lead actors are contractually obliged to return (though director Stephen Sommers is not confirmed).

Work has also begun on a new Wolverine film and confirms that the film will cover Wolverine’s time in Japan.

If these films follow the path for sequels, hopefully they will both show up within 2-3 years.
