This week we are going to look at the trailer for the latest film by Guy Ritchie.
Guy Ritchie was in a bit of a rut after the double success of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch.
I didn’t mind the cerebral film Revolver, which I saw at the Toronto Film Festival a few years ago. However, it ended up never getting a wide release.
Now Ritchie is back in his element with RocknRolla, which can be viewed as his comeback film.
From the looks of this trailer, this does seem to be in the style of Ritchie’s earlier films and I am looking forward to seeing the film when it opens next month.
Note: An interesting thing to notice is this trailer is that it is produced by Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment, which up to this point has only produced horror films (I guess the company is moving to genre films in general).
