Trailer Thoughts: Tropic Thunder

tropicthunder
Better late than never, this week I look at the latest film by the “Frat Pack” (i.e. and friends).

Tropic Thunder

The latest directorial effort by Stiller sees a group of actors filming a war movie that end up being involved in actual combat. This film looks to be a funny satire of the many war movies that have come out over the decades. The most interesting role definitely looks to be Robert Downey Jr, who is playing an Australian actor, who undergoes an operation to play black man in the film within a film. This film will definitely be worth checking out when it comes out in August.
