Update: Spielberg will only be Producing Matt Helm

Earlier today, I talked about the reports that was going to be directing a film based on the novels.

Now the official decision is that Spielberg is only going to be producing the film, with Paramount looking for another director.

So, that leaves it unknown what Spielberg’s next project is going to be. Currently he is working with Peter Jackson on a stop-motion film based on the Belgian comic-strip Tintin, which is scheduled to come out in 2011.
