Dead Dead Full Dead Synopsis
Dead Dead Full Dead is a whodunnit comedy directed by first-time filmmaker Pratul Gaikwad. The film takes place in a surreal world, where police supervisor Mr. Patil (Abhijeet Chavan) has an affliction, giving him an electrically charged hand, and a pet goat named Michael, who is struck by a car and turns into a doll. Then there is the main plot of the film, which is based around Rashomon-style flashbacks of the various police interrogations, except for the fact that they are interactive and after learning how dislikable a person Era was, the question soon becomes not who killed her…but who didn’t?
My Thoughts on Dead Dead Full Dead
You know that Dead Dead Full Dead is a film that isn’t supposed to be taken too seriously when an early scene involves a newly-murdered Era in an afterlife waiting room being interviewed by the Devil. The many surreal aspects of this whodunnit are attributed to once in 10,000 years eclipse that is occurring that night. Ultimately, Dead Dead Full Dead is an immensely quirky film that turns the typical whodunnit narrative on its head.
