30 Minutes or Less is an action-comedy from the director of Zombieland. It can easily be said that this film doesn’t have as original a premise as the previous, but I still found it to be quite hilarious.
It’s a very simple plot: a looser of a pizza delivery boy (Jesse Eisenberg) gets strapped with a bomb by two dim-witted criminals (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson) and he is forced to rob a bank, assisted by his best friend (Aziz Ansari), before time runs out and he blows up.
The film doesn’t really get much more extravagant than that, however it’s the performance by the four funny actors that help full off the film. Both Eisenberg/Ansari and McBride/Swardson have a straight man/funny man chemistry with each other that really made the film.
30 Minutes or Less was definitely one funny film.
