The Girl who Played with Fire

TheGirlWhoPlayedWithFire

I thought The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was an exceptionally well-made thriller that was on par with similar types of films released in North America.  Its sequel  was also a quite good film, even if the story wasn’t quite on par to the last one.

The last film had a benefit of being a stand-alone story, while this film features a two part story arc that will be concluded in the final film The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest.  That said, I thought the film still ended on a fairly conclusive note, even though the story was not entirely resolved.

Overall, while I thought this film didn’t match the bar raised by the previous, it was still a very good thriller and I will look forward to the conclusion to the trilogy when it’s released in North America later this year.
