Ever since seeing this film today, I have been thinking very carefully about my thoughts on the film.

On one hand, I have to say that the structure of the plot is very formulaic and I believe the actors playing the main characters aren’t exactly the best choices.  On the other hand though, I thought that the film was watchable and I was quite impressed by Jackie Earle Haley‘s interpretation of Freddy Krueger.

I do not have the benefit of having seen the original, but I would suspect that it is more worth watching than this remake.  Either way, this film barely passes in my book.
