This week my top DVD pick will be Race to Witch Mountain (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that the film was a fan action-packed family film that would be worth at least a rent. Also out this week is the Fatal Attraction-esque thriller Obsessed (also on Blu-Ray) and the drama The Soloist (also on Blu-Ray)….

The story is intriguing in its format, which moves in a reverse-chronological order. This means that you already know what happens to the characters…

This week sees the release of Role Models (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that this was a fun film that seemed reminiscent of Judd Apatow‘s productions (even though he was not involved). Also being released this week is Milk (also on Blu-Ray). I thought that is was a memorable (yet tragic) look at a man’s…
My coverage of the 20th annual edition of of Fantasia International Film Festival has come to an end. For the second year in a row, I made the trip to Montreal to see a wide variety of films from around the world, ranging from heavily hyped genre films, the best of Asian cinema, and some…
