This weekend, my top pick is the new Kevin Smith directed buddy comedy Cop Out (formerly known under the slightly more risqué title of A Couple of Dicks). The measly 17% Fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes suggests that this isn’t Smith’s best (but I’m check it out anyway).
Also out this week is The Crazies, which is a remake of the George A. Romero film of the same name. It turns out that this is one of the rare horror films to actually receive good reviews from critics with the film sporting a very decent 71% Fresh rating.
