This Weekend in Movies – September 19, 2008

ghost town posterThis weekend, I am most likely going to go and see Burn After Reading, which I missed when it opened last week.

However, there are still some notable films opening this week.

The best reviewed release is the comedy Ghost Town, which is currently 80% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film Lakeview Terrace isn’t fairing as well in the reviews, since it is only 35% Fresh. However, the animated film Igor is a little worse-off at 27% Fresh and My Best Friend’s Girl wasn’t even screened for critics.

So, the best bet this weekend will probably be the former David Brent (or, in my case, the Coens).

And that’s this weekend in movies.
