Shadow
Rango

is one of those animated films, which moves past from the fact that it is animated and becomes something much more.  If it wasn't for the fact that all the characters in this film were talking animals, this film would probably be able to stand alone as a pretty good Western.

The films stars (the voice of) Johnny Depp as a chameleon lost in the Mojave Desert and stumbles on a town known only as “Dirt.”  Through a series of events, he become the town's sheriff and makes it his job to save the town's water supply.

It is definitely a unique and entertaining film that probably has just as much to do with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, in addition to classic spaghetti westerns.

The film awesome.
