Canadian films are always hit or miss since budget-wise they are unable to match the quality of films to come from the states. There is also the slightly sad fact that the film only had about a dozen people in the theatre (most who arrived just before the film was going to start).
Paul Gross is probably one of the more well known Canadian actors that still work in Canada and if his presence doesn’t make the film scream Canada, then the low-grade camera work will.
That said, the films still had a pretty decent story about an infamous gunslinger, who takes shelter in a small Canadian town. The story is mostly played for laughs, even there are a few stereotypical western conventions throughout the film.
Even though this film will probably not be considered a classic, I thought it was a fairly decent film.
