The new Indiana Jones films hasn’t even come out yet and AICN has posted a quote by George Lucas saying that he wants a fifth film with Shia LeBeouf as the main character and Indy coming back in a sidekick role (like Sean Connery in The Last Crusade).
I would say that’s definitely a case of counting your chickens before they hatch. I personally would like the series to end on a high note instead of creating a spin-off.
