BiographyElla Jay Basco's a proud Korean/Filipino actress & singer songwriter. She's the daughter of Derek Basco, who's an actor & her acting coach. Her godfather's Dante Basco from Hook. Hobbies include writing music w/ her older brother Darryl as well as playing guitar, piano & ukulele. She's also a trained dancer who loves hip-hop dancing.
She started her career at 6 months w/ an Old Navy print ad. Since then, she has done numerous commercials & some TV appearances such as Grey's Anatomy, Veep & Superior Donuts. Her breakout role was in the film Bird's of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). She was excited to work w/ & learning from Margot, Ewan, Rosie, Jurnee, Mary Elizabeth, Chris as well as Ms. Cathy Yan!
