Biography
Enni Ojutkangas, a versatile actress known for her work across various mediums, hails from the northern Finnish city of Rovaniemi. Her journey in the world of acting began at the young age of 7 when she made her film debut in 'Rikos ja Rakkaus'. Her passion for acting was ignited, and during her early years, creating homemade films with friends and participating in amateur theatre remained cherished hobbies.
At the age of 20 Enni's passion led her to pursue professional training at the Finnish Theatre Academy in Tampere, where she was recognized for her dedication and received the Most Improved Acting Award in both years during the academy. Continuing her education, she further honed her skills in musical theatre studies in Helsinki, while also engaging in theatre research studies at the University of Helsinki, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017. Additionally, she dedicated a year to acting in English and graduated from the English Drama program at West Finland College in 2018.
Throughout her career, Enni has collaborated with various film companies and directors, earning acclaim for her contributions and becoming recognized as one of the heavyweight doers in the Finnish independent cinema scene. Additionally, her talent has been recognized with a tied 'Best Actress' award for her role in the 'Best Film' winning short film 'The Fine Artists' at the international contest Four Points Film Project (previously known as National Film Challenge, USA). Recently Enni played a minor role in 'Lapua 1976', which became a blockbuster movie in Finland in 2023.
In addition to her film accomplishments, notable theatre highlights include her performances at Espoo City Theatre (The International Theatre of Finland), in phenomenal, award winning director and writer Juha Hurme's productions 'Harhama' and 'Jumalainen näytelmä', where she was highly regarded by critics.
