Grant Baldwin
 
BiographyGrant is a BC-based director, cinematographer and composer who has won numerous Leo's and festival awards for his work. His directorial credits include both seasons of the documentary series 'Search and Rescue North Shore' and the feature documentaries 'This Mountain Life', 'Just Eat It', and 'The Clean Bin Project'. His cinematography and suburb UAV work have been featured in the above films as well as 'Koneline: Our Land Beautiful', 'Metamorphosis' (NFB), and 'Seven Worlds, One Planet' (BBC Earth). He was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for cinematography for 'This Mountain Life'. Grant has a formal background in music production and worked both as an independent artist (under Phontaine) and as a composer for film and TV before transitioning to working behind the lens. He won 4 Leo Awards for original scores on his last four film projects. Grant was born in Brighton, England, raised in Nanaimo, BC, and now resides in North Vancouver, Canada.
