BiographyKATIE WHITE (she/her) is an Emmy award-winning producer with an eclectic body of work. She produced BEST SUMMER EVER (SXSW 2021/Hulu), a narrative musical feature made with an integrated cast and crew of people with and without disabilities, which was hailed as a 'CriticsPick' by The New York Times and was praised widely for its groundbreaking inclusivity. Katie also produced the 2022 Emmy- nominated queer comedy BRIDESMAN, Grindr's first foray into narrative series, which premiered at Outfest 2021 and received a 2022 Tribeca X nomination for outstanding episodic achievement. Her first feature documentary SYLVIE OF THE SUNSHINE STATE (Juno Films) premiered at Slamdance 2022 and won the George Starks Spirit of Slamdance Award. Katie is a 2022 Sundance Catalyst Fellow and 2021 Sundance Producing Fellow, a co-founder of the Eastside Women's Film Club, a volunteer with SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, and co-chair of the Documentary Producers Alliance Membership Committee.
