BiographyBorn in London, England, Kayvan Novak is a British actor and comedian of Iranian descent, best known for playing the clueless vampire Nandor the Relentless in What We Do in the Shadows (2019). He studied at Highgate School, the Fine Arts College, and the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He played minor parts in various British TV series before gaining recognition in 2007 with his prank call comedy show Fonejacker (2007), which he co-created with Ed Tracy. In 2010, he won the award for Best Comedy Performance in a British Film at the British Comedy Awards for his role in the B-movie Four Lions (2010). He is both an actor and a voice artist, as well as appearing as himself in various panel shows. In 2019 he got a starring role in the horror comedy mockumentary series What We Do in the Shadows, which gained him worldwide recognition.
