With her very special facial features and her unique acting talent, Maria Erwolter is gaining her ground on the Scandinavian and International acting scene. Her appearance can be both typically Scandinavian and eerily otherworldly, and she has played roles that span from gangster - to comedy - to horror movies, and everything in between. She had her on-screen debut playing opposite Danish star Mads Mikkelsen in a major supporting role in the award-winning feature film "Pusher ll (With blood on my hands)" in 2004. The movie was directed by award-winning director Nicolas Winding Refn. Maria starred as the leading character in the Danish comedy-sitcom "Kristian" for 2 seasons. Her latest work contains significant supporting roles in Danish TV Thrillerseries "Those Who Kill" (season 2) and "The Ritual", the British hit horror movie, produced by Netflix. Maria signed with Panorama Agency in 2018 and immediately landed a major supporting role in Swedish Viaplay's big suspense thriller "RIG 45" season II, which will premiere in early 2020.
