Phill Martin
Biography
Phill Martin was born in Derbyshire, England. Phill was always tall for his age and stuck out to be a truly unique individual. Phill stands at an impressive 7 feet tall (or 213cm) which would eventually lead him down the path of a successful acting career. Although he didn't start his career in acting until he hit his 30s he has still amassed and impressive number of credits; starring in acting roles from Hollywood Blockbusters to home grown drama and comedy from BBC and ITV. His size has made him perfect to don various prosthetics and costumes to become fantastical creatures and beasts in several productions but Phill's skills have also allowed him to frequently break out of the monster roles and fulfill the more traditional acting work with his face seen alongside many recogniseable Hollywood stars.
Some of Phills more notable roles include Hallgrimr Half Troll alongside Alexander Skarsgaard & Nicole Kidman in the Northman, directed by Robert Eggers. As Goliath alongside Hugh Jackman in Joe Wright's Pan. Phil also starred alongside Sean Bean as Thomas Garlick for the second season of popular ITV drama The Frankenstein Chronicles
Phill also flexed his comedy chops working with Mike Myers as Sasqutch in The Pentaverate (Tim Kirkby), he has also worked with Joe Wilkinson and David Earl for a Sky Summer special and played Lanky John in BBC Comedy drama Mountain Goats.
