Woody Norman
BiographyUK based actor Woody Norman recently wrapped the Netflix feature film "The electric state", directed by the Russo Bros. Norman is best known for his work in A24's feature "Cmon Cmon"from writer/director Mike Mills. The film, in which Woody stars opposite Joaquin Phoenix, premiered at Telluride to critical acclaim, and also screened at the New York Film Festival. Among the many accolades for his performance, Norman won the London Critics' Circle Award for Young British/Irish Performer, and was nominated for both BAFTA's Supporting Actor and the Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Actor/Actress. Norman will next be seen in Amblin's "The last Voyage of the Demeter", directed by Andre Øvredal, where he shares the screen with Corey Hawkins, and in the Lionsgate thriller "Cobweb"opposite Lizzy Caplan. Other film credits include Alexander Jeremy's "The SpaceMan"with Colin Farrell, Karl Golden's "Bruno", Alfonso Gomez-Rejon's "The Current WR"where he played Benedict Cumberbatch's son, and Justin Molotnikov's " The Small Hand" Woody recurred on BBC One's Poldark, Troy: Fall of the city, The war of the worlds, and Les Miserables. He was also seen in Starz's The white princess opposite Jodie Comer and ITV's Peter and Wendy.
