BiographyCary Murnion and Jonathan Milott met at Parsons School of Design, where they teamed up to run a cutting edge animation, design, and advertising firm and began to explore filmmaking together. Their early collaborations pushed the boundaries of taste, technique, form, and humor. One of their first short films premiered at SXSW, which parlayed into feature filmmaking. Their directorial feature film debut, 'Cooties', starring Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson, premiered at The Sundance Film Festival. Cooties, distributed by Lions Gate, is available on VOD. 'Bushwick', their second feature film, starring Dave Bautista and Brittany Snow, premiered in the U.S. at The Sundance Film Festival and premiered Internationally at Cannes Director's Fortnight. Watch it on Netflix! Cary and Jon's latest film is 'Becky', starring Kevin James, Lulu Wilson, Joel Mchale, and Amanda Brugel. This film was accepted and scheduled to premiere at 2020 Tribeca Film Festival and was released in theaters and drive-ins, becoming the number one movie at the US box office.
