Craig Goodwill
Biography
Goodwill's career as a narrative writer/director launched with his award-winning debut feature Patch Town.
Patch Town, based on Goodwill's Directors Guild Award winning short of the same name which premiered at Toronto International (TIFF), had its international premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Moscow International, and Shanghai International (Panorama) and coming home to Fantasia Film Fest in Montreal. US distribution rights were sold to Kino Lorber. With a 86% Tomatometer Patch Town was released theatrically and can now be seen on NETFLIX and across digital platforms
Craig recently completed his second feature COMPULSION which was sold domestically to KETCHUP/FOX Searchlight and internationally to WTfilms in France. The film, which was shot in Italy, is preparing for its 2017/18 festival run.
Craig's next project, Bitter is set to shoot in Ireland winter 2017. The project was written by Stephen Susco (The Grudge) and Produced by Taylor Hackford (Ray, Devil's Advocate) and Mike Macari (The Ring).
Craig Goodwill began his film career as a producer/director's assistant on films such as Good Will Hunting, 54, Driven, Superstar, Storm of the Century, Loser, among many others. Subsequently, Goodwill traveled the world from Haiti to India directing and producing documentaries for National Geographic, CBC, Alliance Atlantis.
Goodwill continues to shoot award-winning work as a commercial director for clients such as Nike, Microsoft, Bank of America, and Nok
