Golden Globe Nominees – First Thoughts

It’s that time already, eh?

Nothing really surprised me with this year’s Golden Globe nominations.  I would say the biggest surprise would be the nomination of Thank You for Smoking in the “Best Picture, Comedy or Musical” category, since it came out REALLY early in the year and I pretty much forgot about it.

I’ll make my official predictions sometime early next month, but, in my opinion, The Departed will be the film to beat this year.  I’m also sort of hoping for Borat to rule.
