As such, I shall now make my predictions:

Prediction: Brokeback Mountain
Alternate: The Constant Garderner
Reason: This is the first year in a while that I have yet to see any of these movies, so I'm going mostly on buzz. Brokeback Mountain has been picking up awards all over the place, so I'll be surprised if it DOESN'T win. However, my second pick would be The Constant Garderner, which I have also been hearing good things about.
Best Picture – Musical or Comedy

Pride & Prejudice
The Producers
The Squid And The Whale
Walk The Line
Prediction: Walk The Line
Alternates: The Squid and the Whale
Reason: This was a tough one. I find that Walk The Line and The Squid and the Whale stand out in this list, and I think Walk The Line has been getting the better buzz of the two.

Philip Seymour Hoffman – Capote
Terrence Howard – Hustle & Flow

Reason: All you need to do is see the trailer for Capote to see how good Hoffman's performance is in that one. However, if he doesn't get it, I think Ledger will.

Reason: Because she players a transgendered person, I think Felicity Huffman stands out enough to win this award. My alternate pick was really just a toss.

Reason: Brokeback Mountain is getting all the buzz, so I think Ang Lee will get the director's award.

Reason: I can't believe I actually saw one of the foreign nominees this year. Anyways, Kung Fu Hustle was a REALLY entertaining film and I think it will win.
